
Martin O'Neill has won All-Scotland, All-Britain and All-Ireland titles on Bodhrán and is widely recognised as one of today’s leading exponents of the instrument.
He graduated in 2002 with an honours degree in Music from Strathclyde University, and since then, has gone on to become one of the most in demand Bodhrán players in the country.
An experienced performer, Martin has worked with many of the leading musicians in traditional music, including Michael McGoldrick, Flook, John Doyle, Deaf Shepherd and Brolum amongst others and has made countless television and radio appearances around the world. He has also worked with some of the top orchestras in Europe and been called upon as a featured soloist with European Brass Band champions, the Yorkshire Building Society Brass Band and with World Pipe Band champions, The House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band.
A seasoned recording musician, Martin has appeared on over 20 albums including releases from Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, Dochas, Julie Fowlis, Claire Mann & Aaron Jones, Emily Smith, Angus Lyon & Ruaridh Campbell, Brolum and James Ross.
